Hi, I’m Kristen! I live in Alabama with my husband, four delightful sons, and one very large spoiled dog.

Painting has always brought me immense joy. It’s the place Jesus has used it in my life to settle my mind and soften the world around me. For several years I stepped away from sharing art publicly to be a foster parent and focus on raising my house full of boys, and now I’m back in the studio full time with fresh eyes and a grateful heart.

I’m drawn to beauty, worn edges, and the layered stories tucked inside everyday life; the little moments that end up being the big ones. Because of this I can count it all joy and I love finding Him threaded through art.

I build in layers, mixing textures, color and words, letting each layer tell part of the story. Every painting has a thread of whimsy that I hope you feel, too.
